*Stella being all cute yesterday*

Hello Lovelies!

I’m back. ready then ever to get blogging again.

Between not working, spending time with family, the holidays, and be sick I’ve been a little MIA for a few days.

All that can be forgotten since I’m back. he

It’s been a busy few days.

Here is a little recap for you lovelies.

* I’ve been dealing with the USPS for so long about my missing packages (yes, three missing packages). Once I talk to someone, they said there is nothing there is nothing they can do. Once it leaves their truck. It is out of their hands. I’m so mad. I’ve come to the conclusion that who ever stole the package needed the stuff way more then me.

* Christmas was a great time had by all. It was nice to hang out with family and some close friends. Everyone got gifts, played Yahtzee, and drank wine.

* I’ve been working from home for about a week now and I’ve been so busy. All the projects that I needed done around the house, I’ve finally got around to them.

* As for being sick, I’m all better now. I’m having some very bad eye problems. Basically the other day my eye was so red that it hurt to even open it. So I spent literally all day Saturday sleeping on the couch. I couldn’t do anything else.

That’s the highlights of my life and why I’ve been MIA.

Until Next Time,

Dear Stella: You are too cute in the snow. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Even if you were scared to walk in it.

Dear Snow: Thank you so much for finally coming. It was so nice to sleep in and spend the day working from home.

Dear Husband: Time for you to get off work so we can hang out. Stella and I miss you.

Dear Long Work Commute: See you next year. I will no miss you. I’ll enjoy these next two works of working from home.

Have a great Friday Everyone!

Currently is a weekly link-up with Harvesting Kale.

This week’s themes:

baking, loving, missing, craving, laughing

Currently baking nothing. I have no time to bake. Honestly, I’m not every good at baking.

Currently loving Christina Grimmie. If you have never heard you, go check her out. She has a wonderful voice.

Currently missing my package from the post office. It was suppose to be delivered last Friday and yet it’s still not here. Trying to track it down has not been fun. I’m still holding out hope that it will show up soon.

Currently craving some popcorn. I have no idea why but popcorn sounds amazing right now.

Currently laughing at buzzfeed. I can’t get enough of that website. It can entertain me for HOURS.

Enjoy your Thursday!

Would You Rather Weds?

Hello Lovelies!

It’s Weds. Hump Day. Middle of the week. Which means one thing, would you rather day!

For those of you that are new to the blog (hello and welcome) let me take a moment and explain would you rather.

Would you rather is a game where you are presented with two choices. Between those two choices, you have to pick one.

Pretty Simple huh?

Let’s get to this week’s questions.

Would you rather…

… be made out of plastic or glass?

…Be invisible or be able to read minds?

…live in the world of Twilight or Harry Potter?

…Have a monkey tail or cat ears?

My answers:

I would rather be made out of plastic. That way if I ever get dropped I won’t have to worry about breaking. I would be able to be a daredevil and not be so fragile. I would be worry free.

I would rather be invisible. There are a couple of times a day where I think how awesome it would be to be a fly on that wall. You would get to cause mischief and no one would suspect you.

I would rather live in the would of Harry Potter. I’m still waiting by the mailbox for my owl with my Hogwarts acceptance letter. (This was a trick question because I like both movies)

I would rather have cat ears. Cat ears would be way easier to hide with a hat or something. Plus they would be a little more comfortable.

Next Week’s Questions:

Since next Weds is Christmas (what, wait already??) our would you rather questions are holiday based.

Would you rather…

… have a celebrity sing Christmas Carol Remixes for 24 hours or the Chipmunks sing the carols?

… be frosty the snowman or Rudolph the red nosed reindeer?

… have a reindeer or an elf?

… live in a giant gingerbread house or ride on the polar express?

* A link up will be done soon. I promise*

Signing off,

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s theme is:

Top Ten New to Me Authors.

Cassie Mae: I started “Switched” by her and I’m in love. She has just the right amount of humor mixed with real life situations. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

Jay Crownover: I brought her debut novel “Rule” on a whim and don’t regret it one bit. I’m super glad that the Marked Men series is still going strong.

Rainbow Rowell: “Fangirl” is easily my top favorite book of 2013. I can’t wait to get my hands on other books by Rainbow.

John Green: I’ll be honest, the only book I’ve read of John Green’s is “The Fault in Our Stars.” That book made me sad that I’ve been scared to read more of his books.

Matthew Quick: What is there to say about “Silver Linings Playbook?” He’s one author I’m excited to keep reading.

Bella Andre: Her books are the right amount of adult reading that I like.

Stephanie Bond: Murder and comedy. What a great combination!

Jay Asher: An author that I think future generations will relate to. The issues he deals with in his book are issues that will still be problems years from now.

T.Torrest: She is super funny. I’ve started her “Remember When” series and it brings me back to high school. I can relate to her characters.

Abbi Glines: I’ve enjoyed reading her books and want to keep reading them.

What are some authors you discovered this year? Any you would recommend?

Monday Afternoon(ish) Ramblings + Secret Santa Reveal

Today’s post is inspired by Jen @ Ramblings of a Suburban Mom

Hello Lovelies!

~ I’m Back! I survived my girl’s weekend in Vegas. Barely but I did. When I finally get my camera card cleaned out, I will post pictures.

~ The worst part about my trip was the airports. Those darn things are so hard to navigate. I had such a rough time getting checked in at the Vegas Airport that I almost had a full on toddler meltdown. Maybe if I did, I would have gotten more help then I was getting. It’s like they don’t want you to leave Vegas.

~ I do most of my shopping online now. About three weeks ago, I ordered something from Forever 21 and it still hasn’t come. I finally got a notice that it was shipped and delivered on Friday. Today is Monday and has yet to arrive at my house. I’ve called both the Post Office and Forever 21 and neither were helpful. I think someone is stealing my mail. 😦

~ This holiday season I signed up for some secret Santa Swap. I’ve had such a blast with them. My latest one was from the lovely Allie over at Tales of a Twenty Something. I received some pretty awesome gifts, which I need to get off my camera. I shopped for Ashley who blogs at Check out her blog to see all the cool stuff she got!

~ I’m a part of the 2014 Blogger Challenge hosted by Gaby over at Every so often she will send a new topic out then we get to write about it. She just sent out the first topic so I’m pretty excited!

Have a lovely Monday everyone!

Currently drinking Diet Cherry Coke.

Currently anticipating the afternoon. I will be on an airplane to Vegas! Girls weekend, here I come!

Next week’s Theme:

baking, loving, missing, craving, laughing

I will be gone this weekend through Sunday night in Vegas.

I will return Monday with my daily posts.

Have a fun weekend lovelies!

Would You Rather Weds?

Hello lovelies!

Wednesday is here and you know what that means! Another edition of Would You Rather.

Starting this week, I’m going to post the questions for next week. It’s starting to become an official link up. Look at us go!

Ready. Set. Go.

Would you rather…

… be able to fly with the birds or swim with the fishes?

… be able to speak what’s on your mind all the time or feel no emotion?

… trade places with a movie star or an athlete?

{My Answers}

I would rather fly with the birds. I have a fear that I’m going to drown to death so I’m scared to go into the water. I know I really won’t drown since I would have the ability to breath. But I still would want to fly. You could go anywhere you want at a moment’s notice.

I would rather speak what’s on my mind. I’m a very emotional person but that’s something my husband likes about me. It would nice not to be sad but then you can’t experience happy, glad, love and all the other emotions.

I would rather trade places with an athlete. I’ve played soccer my whole life so all I’ve ever know is being an athlete. I would love to do it professionally.

Here are next week’s questions!

Would you rather….

… be made out of plastic or glass?

…Be invisible or be able to read minds?

…live in the world of Twilight or Harry Potter?

…Have a monkey tail or cat ears?

Until next time my loves!
