Local Flavor Swap

Hello Loves!

I’m huge on swaps. I love getting to know another person and being come friends.

When the wonderful ladies at Chaotic Goddess Swaps hosted yet another swap, I signed up; of course.

Here is a little rundown of the Local Flavor:

Fill a package with at least 5 goodies for your partner that you, yourself, would love to receive.  The package must include items that are local to your region/state/town! This can include (but is not limited to): things your area is known for; goodies from local businesses or farmer’s market; books from local authors; art from local artists; info about the region; etc.

I was partnered with Wendy who blogs over at A Day in the Life on the Farm. The coolest thing about this swap, is that you were partnered with someone in a completely different state. Wendy lives in Michigan. Which is a state, I haven’t visited but really want to. I love getting to know Wendy. Hopefully, we get to meet in real life.
Here is what she got me:

– The light house picture is actually the card explaining everything.

– The Soap and Ornament came from a little shop that features local artists.

– Michigan is farm country, hence all the food stuff. There is Apple Chips, Blueberry Jam, Pear Butter and beats from her garden and Grapes from her neighbors.

– A book that explains everything about Michigan. I’m having a blast getting to read all about it. Makes me want to travel there really soon.

Thank you Wendy for the wonderful gifts! And thank you Chaotic Goddess Swaps for another successful exchange.

– Jennifer
